​The objective was to  design a memorable book jacket that appeals to the target audience (women age 28-40 who love woman’s fiction) and is indicative of the novels theme: Secrets can be destructive. I drew inspiration from The Secret Garden, focusing on a garden door and its ability shield and reveal information. The juxtaposition of the lush green garden and the dying rose highlight the crossroads the two main characters face.
